Music, Light, and Marshmallows
The Waynflete Upper School Chorus at the Portland Museum of Art’s Annual Copper Beech Tree Lighting
6:00 pm Friday 12/4/15
During the First Friday Art Walk on December 4th at 6:00 pm, Waynflete’s very own Upper School Chorus will join Portland’s Poet Laureate Gibson Fay-LeBlanc and young authors from The Telling Room to share season-inspired songs and poems— not to mention enjoy some streetside s’mores from The Marshmallow Cart — all in anticipation of the spectacular lighting of the 100-year-old copper beech tree, a Portland winter tradition that is not to be missed!
Bundle up and come support our singers as we meet in the Joan B. Burns Garden on High Street at the Portland Museum of Art at 6:00pm.
Congratulations to our singers on this great performance opportunity!
